Inchcape Colombia adds a new OEM: the Chinese giant XCMG

The largest construction machinery company will now be represented by Inchcape Colombia and Dercomaq. During the Colombian Infrastructure Congress in the city of Cartagena, the alliance between these two companies was announced.

XCMG enters the country with the goal of becoming a support for local governments, public and private construction contractors, and entrepreneurs in general who invest in the construction sector. It offers a wide variety of equipment models in infrastructure, construction, mining, and agriculture, with proven quality and productivity in over 180 countries.

It has established itself as the third-largest construction machinery company in the world. In addition to extensive experience in the construction of infrastructure such as bridges and roads, XCMG has also developed in other sectors of great importance to Colombia, such as mining, especially in relation to coal. It also has a strong presence in large-scale agriculture, with equipment already being used for the cultivation of bananas, sugar, or palm oil.
