Jerry Buhlmann appointed Chairman of Inchcape plc

Jerry Buhlmann has been appointed Chairman of the Board of Inchcape plc, following the company’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) in London today, 9 May 2024.

First appointed to Inchcape’s Board in 2017, and its Senior Independent Director since 2019, Jerry brings over 40 years’ experience to the role of Chairman.

Previously, he was Chief Executive Officer of Aegis Group PLC and Dentsu Aegis Networks. Jerry is also Chairman of three private equity-backed digital marketing agencies, a member of the Supervisory Board of Serviceplan GmbH and a senior advisor to OC&C.

Jerry’s appointment comes following the retirement of Nigel Stein who is leaving the Board of Inchcape after nine years, six of which were as Chairman. We thank Nigel for his service and congratulate Jerry on his appointment.
