Inchcape announces changes to senior leadership team

Inchcape announces changes to senior leadership team to support the delivery of its enhanced strategic approach, Accelerate+
Inchcape is delighted to announce a number of leadership changes designed to support the delivery of its evolved strategic approach, Accelerate+. These changes will enable Inchcape to deliver on its growth ambitions out to 2030 and will reinforce Inchcape’s position as the world’s leading independent automotive distribution business.
The key leadership changes, in effect from April 1, are as follows:
- Romeo Lacerda will become Chief Commercial Officer, with a global mandate. leading our Digital & Data team and Distribution Excellence programme, as well as Value-Added Services. This is an expanded role following Mark Dearnley’s departure from his position as Chief Digital Officer at Inchcape in Q4 2024.
- Mike Bowers currently Group General Counsel & Chief Sustainability Officer, will become CEO, Americas, replacing Romeo in that role.
- Chief Strategy Officer Liz Brown will expand her role to include sustainability and will now become Chief Strategy and Sustainability Officer.
- Rajvi Kothari, currently Legal Director for the APAC Region, will be promoted to Inchcape’s General Counsel.
The changes are testament to our commitment to develop talent from within. Romeo Lacerda, Liz Brown and Rajvi Kothari will be based in London and Mike Bowers will relocate to Inchcape Americas headquarters in Santiago, Chile.
The Board and Inchcape leadership team have great confidence in these senior appointments whose talent, track record and expertise match the scale of its ambition to deliver our Accelerate+ ambitions. Inchcape’s Accelerate+ strategy focuses on achieving scale in our markets and ensuring we remain the most effective, efficient and sustainable distribution partner for our OEMs.

These senior leadership changes come at an important time for Inchcape as we look to build on the success of recent years with our new Accelerate+ strategy. Our ambition is to further enhance our position as the world’s leading independent automotive Distributor, building a stronger more diversified company that generates sustainable growth and value for our OEMs and investors.
